Daily Walk

Not for one singly day
Can I discern my way
But this I know -
He who give the day
Will show the way
So I securely Go.

- John Oxenham

Living Faith

Doubt sees the obsticles
Faith sees the way.

Doubt sees the darkest night
Faith sees the day

Doubt dreads to take one step
Faith soars on high

Doubt questions, "who believes"?
Faith answeres, "I"!

I can do all things through Christ
Who strengthens me.

Change Of Heart

How oft I longed to fly away to some, far distand spot,
To find a place for life anew, sad memories to blot,
But when I learned to smile and love, all doubt and sorrow fled.
I did not change my dwelling place, but my faint heart instead.

- Robert L. Scarborough

Love

Love must be active. We cannot bury it; it must flow out. It cannot feed upon itself; it must have an object.

- D. L. Moody

Consience

It is the nature and quality of a guilty conscience to flee and be terrified even when all is well, and when prosperity abounds to chance such prosperity into danger.

- Martin Luther

Bitterness

Keep me from bitterness. Its so easy to nurse sharp bitter thoughts each dull dark hour. Against self-pity, Man of Sorrows, defend me, with thy deep sweetness and thy gentle power. And out of all this heart of pain and heartbreak. Help me to harvest a new sympathy for sufferning human kind, a wiser pitty for those who lift a heavier cross with thee.

Apology

Sorry we lost our Internet connection quite some time ago... We have finally managed to get it back on. It's amazing just how much a child will cost trying to keep it taken care of. Then job changes on top of it all. But, now there are two little ones. So Here I am for now and hopefully for good.
